Active Shooter Training for Law Enforcement Officers to be held at Grape Creek MS Campus August 6-9th

The Dept. of Public Safety and various law enforcement agencies will be using the Grape Creek ISD Middle School for an Active Shooter training for Law Enforcement Officers Aug. 6th - 9th. ONLY LAW ENFORCEMENT MEMBERS INVOLVED IN THE TRAINING WILL BE ALLOWED ACCESS INTO THE MS CAMPUS ON TUESDAY AUGUST 7TH and THURSDAY AUGUST 9TH, all other visitors including all GCISD staff members are prohibited from entering the MS campus during the hours of 6:00AM to 6:00PM on these dates. (The connecting hall to the elementary will be closed and barricaded during the training.) Grape Creek ISD is thankful for these officers and the dedication and sacrifices they make for the numerous people, communities, and school districts they serve each and every day! Their expertise and knowledge pertaining to active shooter response procedures within a public school is vital toward saving the lives of our precious children and the amazing staff that works very hard each day caring for them. GCISD is very grateful for the opportunity to host the training site for the officer training, and looks forward to working with the Texas Dept. of Public Safety and other law enforcement agencies in assisting them in any capacity during the conduction of this training. Any Questions or Concerns? Call the Grape Creek ISD Administration Office at (325) 658-7823
