The Texas Guaranteed Student Loan Corporation (in collaboration with the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and the Texas Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators) operates the Texas Financial Aid Information Center. Students, administrators, and the public may call a toll free number, (888) 311-8881, to seek information about student financial aid. Financial aid representatives are available to receive calls on Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:50 p.m. and on Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:50 p.m., Central Time. Bilingual representatives are available for Spanish-speaking callers.
