For a CTE student to be considered a CTE Completer, the student will need to:
- Complete and Pass 3 or more CTE courses for 4 or more Credits
- Completed CTE courses must include at least one Level 3 or 4 Course
- Completed CTE courses must be from the same Program of Study
Industry Based Certifications Offered in GCISD:
1. Agricultural Technology and Mechanical Systems: AWS D9.1 Sheet Metal
2. Culinary Arts: ServSafe Manager
Career & Technical Student Organizations:
CTSOs are an important component of Career and Technical Education. Students are encouraged to participate in the leadership and competition activities offered by their respective CTSO.
